Coffee vs Tea - Who will win? -  We know that it is a debate as old as time. However, which one is better for your health?

The Fackin' English provides all we know about the differences and similarities between coffee and tea and which is healthier. You have choices to decide for yourself how they stack up.

There are countless arguments on this topic. Studies have shown that both coffee and tea have health benefits. Providing you do not load your coffee or tea with sugar, milk, and cream. Milktea somehow is not healthy for your weight :D

Tea tends to have more health benefits than coffee from a healthcare perspective. Drinking tea has been linked to lower risks of cancer and heart disease, improved weight loss, and a more muscular immune system. Meanwhile, researchers point to coffee as a possible way to head off not just Parkinson's but type 2 diabetes, liver disease, and heart problems.

Coffee has more caffeine.

Caffeine, which is included in both coffee and tea, is a stimulant that can help you feel awake and energized.

According to Christopher Gardner, PhD, the director of nutrition studies at the Stanford Prevention Research Center, one cup of coffee typically contains 80 to 100 mg of caffeine, and tea one, by contrast, only includes 30 to 50 mg of caffeine.

Tea gives you more energy and a more extended period of concentration time.

Coffee is like a date. Tea is like marriage. What a hilarious comparison! Nevertheless, it is a fact. Unlike coffee, tea contains L-theanine, a chemical that metabolizes caffeine over a more extended period. To be concluded, tea appears to provide a more sustained boost in energy than coffee. Coffee can give you a bigger awakening buzz, but tea can maintain your performance longer.

Coffee contains more antioxidants.

Both coffee and tea include antioxidants, which are chemical substances that can help you avoid diseases like cancer and diabetes. People believed that tea wins in the war of antioxidants. In reality, the mentioned winner tea is green or white tea leaf. Tea preparations in daily usage have fewer antioxidants generally than coffee. Furthermore, a 2013 study found that coffee contained more antioxidants than tea, hot chocolate, and red wine.

There is no clear winner between tea and coffee in drinking favor.

Just remember to drink coffee and tea in moderation for antioxidant advantages, as more than four or five cups per day can cause health problems due to the overuse of caffeine content. It has been many great rivalries throughout history; we see absolutely no reason why you cannot be a tea and a coffee person. The choice is on you!
