Let's get started!

In 2020, Vietnam ranked one of the safest countries globally for travelers during the pandemic outbreak over the world. Vietnam has kept doing great work until now. However, it always pays to be prepared and got rewards.

Visitors or Foreigners in Vietnam are encouraged to take sensible precautions against COVID-19 that follow The World Health Organization's guidance outlines these basic practices to keep safe as below.

Beginning with rule number 1, we should maintain social distancing - "No going out without emergency." Followed the government announcement, in Saigon, people are not allowed to go out without permission. The statement is applied in Hanoi and Mekong Delta areas, too.

Then, personal health safe should keep this tip as a habit. Washing hands regularly with soap and running water. Moreover, the suggestion uses an alcohol-based hand sanitizer to spray your hands as often as possible. Besides, cleaning the house with alcohol-based liquid is highly recommended.

The most important is mask-on, as always. To ensure masks cover the nose and mouth carefully. Highly required to use a face mask to go out or contact people around to avoid the spread of the virus if mindlessly cough or sneeze in the public area. On the other hand, avoid touching the mask after using it, and wash your hands after removing it.

Last but not least, we should get fully vaccinated. The Vietnam government is open to getting free vaccines for all citizens to reach herd immunity soon. There are many places for public vaccination. Foreigners can register via Covid-19 Vaccine Portal (https://tiemchungcovid19.gov.vn/portal) or write in paperwork by the leader of sub-quarter. At present, there is 33,623,028 vaccinated dose in Vietnam. Over 90% of citizens are done with the first dose.

The quality of hospitals and healthcare is one of the most concern for foreigners.
